After serving in Europe in the U.S. Army during World War II, I attended NYU dental school and then practiced oral surgery in New York City for 35 years.
I was known for my dry sense of humor and had a unique way of looking at the world; seeing humor in most situations.
I was an avid golfer whose long sought low handicap was always just beyond reach. I loved the game, but got too darn old to play.
I am survived by my wife Fran, the love of my life for the past 63 years; our children Barbara and David (Shari); our grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Jackie, Jessica, and Steven; and our loving niece and nephew, Diane and Larry.
In keeping with my wishes, there will no funeral or memorial service. Please join my family at Camelot to celebrate my life at a later date to be determined. I will proudly be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Contributions in my memory may be made to your favorite charity. Goodbye to you all and remember to keep your sense of humor.
