Every day is a good day to do a good deed or a kind gesture. This is how Barbara lived her life. She had a beautiful soul, full of wisdom, kindness and love. I am grateful for the memories we shared, being pen pals as kids, going on walks when she lived in CA, and the cooking lessons she gave. Her meatballs were the best. Always fun to be around. Love you Cousin.

I only knew Prof McKenna for a short period of time. This was my first online class and she was my professor. She had a love for her work and truly cared about her class. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to the family and all that had the joy of knowing her for any amount of time.

Thirty years in the military and I can honestly say Barb was the best neighbor I ever had. I don't think I've ever met anyone like her. I believe God puts people in your path for a reason, and He did that with us. What a woman! God fearing, loved not just loved but adored her children and grand children. Always saw the glass as half full. Barb is an example of who to be and how to be. I will cherish the memories and special moments I got to spend with her. Much love to her family. she will be missed!

Mike, Aunt Rita, and all my cousins,
Barbara was the most amazing person, but you already know this. For me, she was my touchstone--always with a smile, a kind word, encouragement and a sense of humor, even during these last 5 years when circumstances greatly changed. She put up a good fight and I will always marvel at her determination to never give up. Barbara left a wonderful legacy. I was blessed to have known her.
With love, Cousin Donna
