Betsy Dianne Storey

Betsy Dianne Storey, 63, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betsy Storey and father, Richard W. Storey. Dianne, as she preferred to be called, was born on September 2, 1958, in Williamsburg, Virginia. She graduated with her Masters in social work from VCU (1991) and had a passion for helping others. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt and loved spending time with family. Dianne never missed an opportunity to support her nieces and nephews. She also loved summer beach trips with friends, enjoyed reading, cooking, and collecting antiques. She is survived by her brother, Richard Storey (Leigh Storey); nephew, Jamin Shanti (Chrissy Shanti); nieces, Julie Storey (Dan Kelly), Kathryn Storey (Bean Weatherford), Jenny Lappas (Bobby Lappas), Bethany Storey; and great nephews and nieces Benjamin Shanti, Caitlyn Shanti, Emily Shanti, Vivian Lappas, Olivia Lappas, and Jimmy Lappas. Dianne will be missed greatly by her family and friends. A service will be held at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, 8300 Richmond Road, Toano, VA 23168 on June 1, 2022 at 1:00PM.
