Talmadge was the operation supervisor for the Williamsburg Vepco Office for 38 years. He was a loving and supportive husband to the late Evelyn Farmer Bagby. He is survived by one son, Carlton; two daughters, Debra and Harriette; one grandson, Justin Bagby; five granddaughters, Adele York, Amber Glidewell, Josie Hastings, Lindsey VanLeliveld and Kassie VanLeliveld; and ten great grandchildren.
