Cathy Jennifer Brandt

Cathy Jennifer Brandt, age 70 of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on October 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jeanne Scofield; and two sisters, Alice Scofield and Wendy Freer. Cathy worked as an accountant then retired as the Chief Financial Officer for the Elizabethtown School System of Elizabethtown, KY. She was also the Treasurer of the Women’s Club of Toano and dedicated time to the Patriot Red Hatters. Cathy was a great mother, loving wife and devoted friend. She is survived by her husband, David Brandt; sons, Paul Brandt and his wife, Kara and Judson Brandt and his wife, Angie; her daughter, Heather Hamblin and her husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Colin Brandt and his wife, Brittany, Cory Brandt, Christian Brandt, Andrew Brandt, Russell Blair, William Hamblin and Jackson Hamblin. Family will receive friends from 6-7pm on Thursday, October 30 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA. A memorial service will start at 7pm with the Rev.
