My deepest sympthy to the family of Chuck.  I shall always remember him as a great man who taught me many things when I was a snot nosed kid who used to freguent the Olde Fontenelle Gunshop.

So sorry to read of your father's passing, which I just learned about from my brother who lives in Omaha again. You will be in my prayers as you adapt to your loss. (Forgive me if this is a second post- not sure I hit the correct bouton the first time) Your father was a kind man, as I remember him...I am sure you continue that legacy.

I was sad to read of Chuck's passing.  He was a great man.  I loved his wit and he always had a kiss on my hand for a greeting.  Kate and Chuck were clients of mine at Wells Fargo for years.  I am sorry that I lost touch with him when he moved back east.  My husband and I spent a lot of time with Chuck and Kate over the years.  Rest in Peace my friend you are now with Kate.

We are so sorry to hear about Chuck's passing.  We have many fond memories of Chuck.  He was a special, caring man dedicated to God and country, who lived life to the fullest, and was so very proud of his family.  Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of his family.

I marched with Chuck in the 2nd Maryland, and frequent the Old Fontenelle Gun Shop many times.  I am sorry for your loss.  Chuck will be missed by many friends.

I was so saddened to learn of Chuck's passing. He was on our Board of Directors here at U.P. Connection Federal Credit Union in Omaha, NE for 13 years. He contributed much to our credit union and to his country through his service.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I am shocked to hear of Chuck's passing. I spent a lot of time at his gun shop as a child with my dad. I learned so much from them. I will always cherish the time we had together. God Bless.

I am very sad to hear of Chuck's passing.  We knew each other since 1994 when he took a chance and hired me as a part-time Gunsmith at his Old Fontenelle Gun Shop in Bellevue, NE.  It was really a baptism by fire for me, as the weekend before I was to start, Chuck's senior Gunsmith had a series of medical events that kept him from ever returning to work.  I was employed full-time from the first day and for 9 years we never looked back. I will always owe Chuck and Kate an enormous debt of gratitude for the experience I gained working for them at OFGS during what I will always consider as the Glory years of that business. Chuck had an incredible wealth of knowledge about firearms and history and always shared that eagerly with anyone interested. The list of characters, personalities and luminaries Chuck "exposed" me to over the years is long and varied and my life is richer for it.  God speed,old friend, I will see you on the other side.
