Dear Charlie you will always hold a place in our hearts, you were a blessing to many, we love you and will be missed by many.  RIP dear friend and will see you again 

My heart hangs heavy as I write these words under such tragic circumstances, but also a smile is on my face. I smile because I remember all the fun times we all had and I think that's what you would want Charlie, for us to remember the wonderful man you were and the memories we've all made with you throughout life. You made growing up a little easier with your carefree attitude and how you could crack a joke that could make even the most cynical person laugh. I look back on all the trips to Chippokes beach our little gravel road posse took over the years. The summer nights when you'd watch over us kids as we played in the woods. Looking back I honestly cannot remember a single time I saw you angry or speak a cross word, even if we deserved it.  You were an amazing father to Zach and a great friend to all and I will truly miss you Charlie. 

Many of us have known Charlie for years or maybe only a couple months. Charlie came into my life when it was the most upside down it had ever been. Charlie changed my life and made it feel like it was going to be okay. Charlie would do anything for anyone even if that meant giving his shirt off his back for another in need. He was a father figure to me when I thought all else had turned on me. Charlie was a great father,friend,son, and cousin. His son, Zachary was like my little brother I never had but wanted terrible. I’ll never forget us 3 playing in the woods or trying to find somewhere to make a tree fort out of fallen trees. I’ll always remember him telling me and Zach “im gonna tell you what I know” with his hip stuck to one side tapping his boot, and then he’d laugh and smile at us. Charlie will forever and always be greatly loved and missed. May his soul Rest In Peace 🙏 


I love u unc u will be missed so much u where a big influence in my life and I looked up to u so much u where loved by so many and I can’t believe that this is true are family has been thru so much may u rest in paradise I love unc Charlie forever and always till we meet again u have helped me in so many ways from a best friend to a father figure I looked up to praying for all are family love u so much 

      My heart goes out to Zach and all of Charlie's family and friends. From my brief acquaintance with him, I could tell that he was a great man and proud father to his son. I pray for God's comfort and healing over each of you in this time of loss. God bless you all!

Charlie was a dear friend for several years.  We worked together, he was willing to do anything for anyone, whenever needed. No matter personally for friends or coworkers, he was always there. 
Charlie was dedicated to his friends and family and talked about his family back home frequently and most of all his son Zach whom he was so proud. 
We all love him so much and all his teachings to those close to him. 
He will be missed so much. Rest in the hands of whom you believed so much and I am so thankful you are at peace! Love you brother!


Charlie you will always hold a piece of my heart. We had our ups and downs but loved each other always. I'm glad to have gotten to know you and zach. I know you are in a better place and we will see each other again one day. Love to you my friend you will be missed by many.

Many people come and  go in your life, but you knew Charlie was one of your friends that was going to stay around. Charlie was a type of man who would be willing to lend a hand, or two to anyone. His humanity to others was inspiring. I am blessed that God brought Charlie to to my life and others. Weather it was for a brief hello, or I will come and help you he would always  be there.
 Its time to celebrate what a wonderful man he was, and the time we had with him. I do know that his son was his greatest joy and accomplishment on this earth. At times he would stop, and talk about how proud he was of his son, it showed the LOVE between a father and a son. Charlie would talk about back home his father, and his brothers, and sisters of West Va. You could see how much this place meant to him.
Charlie will leave a footprint into our hearts. A son, father, brother, uncle or a friend. I have learned people will forget what people have said ,and did ,but people will never forget how you made them feel. Charlie loved the Lord this could be seen by his compassion of others. If it was just helping someone fix a shed, or helping a few special young men in the garden he loved people and the Lord.
Charlie we will remember the good times .We will remember your smile, So when we think of your life ,we wont dwell on  life's blows, and only remember all the happiness and joy not tears. 

Our lives have been better because of you Charlie, A poem I know,  I hope this helps the family. If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left you my heart in my son so don't you cry,  The Love that's deep within me shall reach you from the stars, you feel it from the heavens, and it will heal the scares. until  we met again God bless you Charlie my brother In Christ.

I only knew you for 4 years but the bond was real!  You were one of the kindest, most sincere men that I have ever known!  You had a love for people, a heart of gold and were a hard worker that never stopped!  My heart aches for those of us that loved you, for Zach, as I knew you loved him so much and also for the future years without you.  May God keep you until we meet again my friend!  We will sit on the rock and catch up on life!  Rest In Peace Charlie!
