Curtis Jean Reed

Curtis Jean Reed (Curt) 77 of Toano, VA, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on April 18, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Reed, son Jeffrey (Enid) of Williamsburg, VA, son Richard of Phoenix, AZ, and daughter Sharon Pleickhardt (James) of Clermont, FL, grandchildren Enrique, Natalia, and Ricardo Reed of Williamsburg, VA, and brothers, Glenn and Russell Brode of NY.

Curtis was born January 10, 1939, served in the U.S. Army, worked as an Experimental Machinist at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, and as an Installer/Repairman for NY Telephone Company from which he retired.

Curt loved his NY Giants and Yankees. He enjoyed going on trips with his motorhome with the family.

Visitation will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA, on Friday, April 22, 2016, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Lane, Williamsburg, VA, on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.
