He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, a business owner of a bread delivery route and a hard worker who earned the nickname, “Doughboy” who retired about six years ago. Daniel was a wonderful father who loved cooking out on the grill, fishing, watching the horses at the racetrack and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; son, Raymond Proulx; daughter, Sara Diaz; five grandchildren, Damian, Alex, Adrien, Jayceon and Shyla; brother, Edward Nickisher (Mary); sister, Deborah Peters (Robert); his niece, Kristie; four nephews, Edward Jr., Bryant, Christopher, and Nicholas; and Derek Judkins, who he loved like a son.
