A long-time Virginia resident, he was born in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High in 1977. After attending Virginia Tech and VCU, he pursued his interest in the outdoors through a number of jobs across the state, before settling in Williamsburg to be near family.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sara, and his sister Mary Beth.
He is survived by his brother, John (and wife Julene); his brother-in-law Michael; and his nephews Michael (wife, Shea, and daughters, Harper and Tieghan) and Richard.
Tim will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with his family.
