OBITUARY

Edward Moran

December 2, 1949November 26, 2013

Edward Moran, beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle passed away suddenly on November 26, 2013 at the age of 63. Ed a self-starter, who never shied away from a challenging project, was born December 2, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York. Though Ed possessed several occupations over the years, he would have liked to be remembered first and foremost for the years he served as a New York City Police Officer. Ed is survived by his wife, Patricia, four children, Danielle, Edward (Megan), Jennifer, and Patricia, and two siblings, Kenneth and Patricia. Ed will also be missed deeply by his friend and loyal companion, Harley the dog. Ed will be missed and remembered by family and friends for his immense personality and quick-witted sense of humor, which always filled a room no matter the size. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30 at Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg, VA from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, with a prayer service to take place at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to http://www.answerthecall.org/. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.nelsencares.com.

We are out of town in Florida on a family emergency, and heard about Ed passing. Wish we could be there to pay our respects. Ed was a great guy, and I enjoyed working with him. He'll surely be missed around the 'Forest'. Our prayers go out to you and your family.

“ya know”, there were so many great Ed'isms. I am sure I will chuckle and remember Ed each time a phrase or activity presents itself.
