No matter what one says, it is not easy loosing your partner in life.  Ed was like a brother to me. The years we spent at IBM,  all the get togethers over the years, the phone calls keeping up with one another, his advice to me on a number of topics I will treasure forever.
Ed was always there for me when I needed him.  You could always count on Ed to have your back
Barb, even though Ed has left us, over the coming days.weeks and months ahead you and I will have many memories to reflect back on.  
We need more people like Ed in our world today.  To you Barb , your sons and family,  Mathilda and I  share in your loss and are with you as you grieve Ed’s passing
