She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jay.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (John); her sons, Billy (Ann) and Richard (Mary Frances); and grandchildren, Chris, Melissa, Jennifer, Billy, Daniel, and Tim.
A Viewing will take place at St. Olaf Catholic Church, where Florence was a member, at 9:30am on December 10, 2022 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am. An interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA.
