Col. Francis William Nosse (Ret) USMC “Frank," age 72, of Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Born on September 19, 1942 in Braddock, PA, to the late Francis and Freda Nosse. He is survived by his long-time companion, Carolee “K” Taylor, of Gwynn’s Island, VA; son, Bradley Richards Nosse and his wife Lindsey of Pittsburgh, PA; and daughter, Dayna Quinn Nosse of Butler, PA.
Frank was a Lieutenant Colonel in the USMC and served our county during Vietnam. He is decorated in several medals including several Purple Hearts Medals. Frank was truly a one-of-a-kind; he will be deeply missed as he had a special way of touching those who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held with full military honors at the Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
