He served his country during the Korean War while in the Navy and retired as General Manager from Independent Communications. He enjoyed woodworking and was a Phillies and Eagles fan.
George is survived by his wife, Lorraine; sons, Todd Montgomery (Yvonne) and Doug Montgomery (Vera); daughter, Lisa Boyer (Frank); grandchildren, Paige and Kindyl Boyer, Drew, Dylan and Kyle Montgomery, Heike McChesaey and Chrissy Williams; and 4 great grandchildren.
