Gerry Kendall Lewis

A carpenter with James City County School System for 46 years, Gerry was a dedicated husband, wonderful father, and excellent provider for his family. He was very loving and kind, put everyone else first, and was a great friend to many and an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Nancy P. Lewis; son, Joseph K. Lewis (wife Cassi); daughter, Kathleen L. Eaton (husband Zac); siblings, Wayne Lewis, Eloise Owens, Linda Lewis, Trish Leukhardt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg on Sunday, October 9th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with the service to begin at 2:00PM. A reception will also follow immediately after the service. The family requests to please wear the most colorful clothing you have, Gerry would rather us have a celebration.
