Born on September 30, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, Gina was the daughter of Gail Gentili and the late George Gentili. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and went on to receive her law degree from the John Marshall School of Law. Though trained in law, Gina found her true calling as the proud owner and operator of the Baskin-Robbins in Williamsburg, a role she cherished deeply and where she became a beloved figure in the community.
Gina's life was filled with joy, purpose, and an unwavering love for her family and friends. She adored spending time with those closest to her, whether gathering for holidays, sharing a laugh over coffee, or simply enjoying each other's company. She especially loved taking long, scenic walks with her two golden retrievers, Daisy and Winter.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Youngs; her loving son, Kyle Youngs; her mother, Gail Gentili; her brother, Greg Gentili; and her mother-in-law, Rayma Youngs. Gina also leaves behind numerous other family members and dear friends, all of whom she cared for deeply and who will miss her immensely.
A service to celebrate Gina's life will be held on August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg, VA. All who knew and loved Gina are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to the Heritage Humane Society, an organization close to Gina's heart.
Gina will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, her dedication to the people and things she loved, and the joy she brought to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
