Harry Bertil Zackrison Jr.

Harry B. Zackrison, Jr., 89, of Williamsburg, VA passed away on October 4, 2026. Born on December 9, 1936 in Washington DC, he was preceded in death by his father, Harry B. Zackrison, Sr., and his mother, Ethel C. (Barnes) Zackrison.

In 1962, Harry received his Associate of Arts (AA) from Paul Smith’s College. He then became a licensed Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia and 17 other states, territories, as well as Washington DC.

Harry was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a published author of four books and over 160 professional engineering articles.

He is survived by his spouse, Eileen D. Zackrison; sons, John H. Zackrison (Miok) and Paul A. Zackrison (Helene, who passed March 14, 2026); daughter, Linda Z. Blanchard (David); grandchildren, Sean Zackrison, Luke Zackrison, Mark Zackrison, Annise Blanchard, Mackenzie Hebert, Sierra Dinkins, T. Dodge Seay, Kasey Seay, Kenley Seay, and Gibson Seay; great-grandchildren, Adley Hebert, Baylee Hebert, Grayson Davidson, and Waylon Davidson; and sister, Alice Dixon.

A service will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church, Williamsburg, VA with interment immediately following.
