Hudson D. Hudgins

Hudson was called to his heavenly home on July 8, 2014. Born in Gloucester, Va. on November 5, 1939. Preceded in death by his parents Fletcher and Mattie Hudgins and brother Edward Hudgins. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife for over 50 years, Beverly Hudgins. He treasured his times with his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, neighbors and other special family members. Hudson has three daughters, Anita Taylor (Keith), Kathy Parnell (Tony) and Christy Zumbrun (Matt). Six grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, David Parnell (Naomi), Dillon Parnell (fiance Stephanie Hetzel), Melinda Parnell (fiance Harrison McGirt), Logan Zumbrun and C. J. Zumbrun. One great grandchild, Jaxson McGirt. Brother, James Hudgins and sister, Julia Brown. He has many special nieces and nephews. Special thanks to caregiver, Lisa Nowell. He was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church. Hudson (Huggie) retired from Dominion Virginia Power after 29 years of service. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 11 at 11:00 am at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
