Ivan Corbett Davis, 86, of Williamsburg, passed away on July 10, 2013. Born in Texas on November 12, 1926, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After his military service, he worked as the Controller for the BASF Corporation. Ivan was a faithful member of St. Olaf Catholic Church in Williamsburg.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Maxine Anne Davis; three sons, Perry Glenn Davis, Kenneth Paul Davis (Marcia), and Russell Martin Davis; a daughter, Christina Marie Wallace (Alan); and seven grandchildren, Alexandra, Timothy, Sarah, Rachel, Lauren, Nicole and Mason.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, from 6-8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg. A memorial mass will be offered on Saturday, July 13 at 11 AM at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Ln, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
