Jack Burch Dubbs, 75, died July 23, 2017, at Hospice House of Williamsburg. He was a resident of southern California until moving to Williamsburg in 1985. A lifelong love of airplanes, boats, and cars led to various business ventures in both San Diego and Williamsburg. His hobbies over the years included traveling, sky diving, garden railroading, steam boating, and constructing his own two-man submarine to explore the depths of San Diego Bay.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Carbon C. Dubbs and Junia White Dubbs. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol K. Dubbs; daughter Joy E. Dubbs; son Carbon P. Dubbs; and brother Carbon C. Dubbs (Priscilla), of Glendale, AZ.
