

Born October 29, 1942 in Wichita, KS and growing up in Clovis, NM, he always wanted to serve in the USAF. After graduating from Clovis High School, he went on to earn his BA from New Mexico State and received his MBA from Baltimore University.
Lee joined the United States Air Force in 1966. During his 22 years of service, his first duty assignment was at Hanscom Field, Bedford, MA; then Wakkanai, Japan; Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX; Shu Lin Kou USAFSS, Taiwan; Ramasun Station, Thailand; Ft. Meade, MD before retiring in 1988 at Kelly Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX as the Joint Signals Intelligence Officer.
Lee worked for E-Systems in Northern Virginia for 8 years until moving to Williamsburg 25 years ago, where he worked for Truist Bank.
His direct ancestor, John Lee, 1703, of the Lees of Virginia, qualified him as a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Williamsburg Chapter, where he served as treasurer and Chaplain. For 11 years, he was one of the costumed 18th-century dancers at both the Palace and Capital, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and was a member of the Heritage Dance Group.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Snyder Lee, OStJ, and his faithful service dog, Duncan. Important bonus family include Sheri Lynn and her brother, Lloyd Alan Trueblood, Ph.D., Crestline, CA; Callie Hawkins-Hobbie, President and CEO, President Lincoln's Cottage, Washington, DC; Mike Zidanic, RN and Michelle Zidanic, RN of Ocean Pines, MD.
