Jackie Branscome, age 58, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Samuel Branscome Sr.; brother-in-law, Roy Turman; and longtime caregiver, Annie Everett.
She loved music, with one of her favorites being “Who Let the Dogs Out,” as well as riding in the car. Jackie was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Bill “Pop” and Judy “Nanny” Asbury were her loving caregivers for 35 years, and with them she enjoyed many outings to Walmart and camping. The entire Asbury family loved and took Jackie in as one of their own.
She is loved and missed dearly by her mother, Lavelle Branscome; sisters, Jeanette Brady (Wayne), Judy Turman-Smith (Richard), and Joyce Hockaday (Mark); brother, Henry S. Branscome II (Diane); 17 nieces and nephews, 40 grand-nieces and nephews, one great-grand-nephew, plus one on the way. She will also be missed by her caregiver, Shirley Easter.
A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 12:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia 23188, followed by a service at 1:00 PM, with interment after.
