Jacqueline "Jackie" Valter Minarik

Jacqueline V. Minarik “Jackie”, age 100, formerly of Salem, VA passed away on June 5, 2022 in Williamsburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harry J. Minarik Sr.; and grandson, Harry Joseph Minarik III.

She was a lifelong Episcopalian and was a member of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Salem for 70 years. Jackie was active in the altar guild, as a Sunday school teacher, and many other activities at St. Paul’s.

Jackie was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also had a love for traveling, golf, and the beach.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Wallace (William) of Nellysford, VA; sons, H. Joseph Jr. (Sonya) of Norris, TN, and Michael (Alexandra) of Williamsburg, VA; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, June Harding.

A service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 42 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153. A reception will be held in the parish hall after the service.
