James "Mac" McReynolds

James Orie “Mac” McReynolds, 59, was a good and faithful man. Mac was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend. He has completed his well lived life on earth, and he leaves all of us with the task of emulating the man he was. He had a rich life, loving relationships with family and many friends, and a career that provided opportunities to make a difference in the lives of so many. He had a sense of adventure that ranged from weekend drives on the spur of the moment with his wife, to traveling all 50 states and many countries. Nothing was too big or small for Mac, he found enjoyment in so many things. A visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday, October 23, at Nelsen Funeral Home located at 3785 Strawberry Plains Road in Williamsburg from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, October 24, a Celebration of Life Service to be held at Williamsburg Baptist Church located at 227 Richmond Road in Williamsburg, beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation or Williamsburg Baptist Church.
