James Roy Sill

A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8 pm on November 20th at Nelsen's Funeral Home located at 3785 Strawberry Plains Road Williamsburg, Virginia 23188. A Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday November 21st at signal Hill Memorial Park located at 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover, Virginia 23069. A burial will follow, and arrangements will be provided by Nelsen's Funeral Home.

James Roy Sill was born in Oakhill, West Virginia to Mary Elizabeth & Wilfred E. Sill on April 16th, 1949. He attended school in Beaverdam, Virginia. James married Dianna Sill on May 11th, 1997, in Holy Hill, South Carolina. James worked for the Boiler makers union as a professional welder for 22 years. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970 when he was honorably discharged.

James was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles club and the Moose Lodge; both located in Williamsburg, Virginia. James is preceded in death by his sister, June Joy Sill and his son, Joshua Eric Sill.

James is survived by his sister, Dorris Wallace; his wife, Dianna Fay Sill; his children, William Stacey Sill, Glenn David Sill, Marshall Wayne Willis; and his stepdaughters, Gina Marie Powers and Tiffany Lynne Powers.
