Having JUST now finding this out I am devastated... 
John and I were the "big guys" hired to work at The Music Theater in Williamsburgh , VA... 
we became quick , incredible friends... 
I was the Chicago comic and John the New York guitar phenom...  
we used to watch Beavis & Butthead and laugh together... 
for a short time we were "The Band That Played For Furniture"... 
John backed me at the Hotel we were staying at and the hotel would let us have furniture they didn't need anymore... 
I believe for a while we both had a TV in every room when we got apts... 
John was a wonderful friend... 
Good Journey sir... 
I love...and miss you...

Hello Dr. Fowler. I am a CNU Music major alumni, vocal performance. There are no words fitting to comfort you at this time. I will extend my deepest condolence for I know this kind of loss. I will keep good thoughts for your well being.

Lauren, please accept my condolences for John's passing. John was just such a wonderful, humble and caring person, in addition to being an astounding and creative musician and artist, that he is sorely missed. 
My only consolation is that I got to stand beside this virtuoso jazz musician and enjoy his gift of music which he shared with the world. 
Please let Carol and I know if there's anything we can do to assist you now or in the coming days and weeks.

My Condolences to the family  of John. I will always remember our childhood and teen years and the good times we had. You will be missed.

Lauren, my wish for you is that your heart be so full of wonderful memories of John that there is no room for sorrow.  Thinking of you now and always.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of John.    John was a great guy!  I met him when I was a student in xray school  and he helped me more then he realized.  Aside from being a great mentor,  his love for animals was so admirable.    He was such a talented musician  and it is heartbreaking that he was taken so soon.  May the Calisto family somehow find comfort knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so may.  God Bless you all.
