

John Lee Morgan passed away June 9, 2018 from complications of COPD. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved with his parents, Oliver and Kitty Morgan to Lewes, Delaware when John was in the third grade. He graduated from Lewis High School Class of 1963, where he played football, excelled at martial arts and mastered the guitar. Upon graduation he joined the Air Force as a Military Police Officer. He settled in Virginia in 1975. John owned and operated a pet store in Williamsburg called "Pet World" for several years. He also played bass guitar, and backup vocals, in a local band called "Penny Arcade". His last job was with Hugo Boss where he loved engaging with his customers and telling stories. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and loved listening to Anita Baker. He is survived by his two children, Ryan (Brandon) Nortness and Taylor Morgan as well as two grandchildren, Natalie and Elliott.
