

On Sunday, January 9, 2022 John Lee Walker Sr., better known as BIG JOHN was called home by the Lord. He was born on November 28, 1969 to the late Daniel Walker Jr. and Parish L. Dixion. He was also proceeded in death by his sons, Elijah Green and John Walker, Jr.
John is survived by his step-father Ronnie Dixon; children, MaLisa Berkley-Holmes (Angelo), Stefan Walker, Darius Griffin, Keyona Walker, Miracle Blair, and Na'sha Green; brothers, Allen Walker (Linda) and Daniel Walker, III (Holly); uncles, Thomas Graves (Shelia) and Robert Graves; aunts, Gracie White (Samuel), Mary White, Maggie Canady, Rudell Walker, Marie Meekins and Elizabeth Hawkins; nine grandchildren; a host of nieces; and a nephew.
John accepted Christ as his personal savior at Chickahominy Baptist Church. He attended Williamsburg James City County public schools and was employed at Stonehouse Golf Club until his injury.
John was a dedicated brother, father, grandfather, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed watching movies and his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his fast cars and cruising down the highway blasting music. John's favorite sayings were "Work for yours, like I worked for mine." And " LISTEN TO ME, YOU NOT LISTENING, THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID!" with his priceless smirk into a smile. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids, family, friends and his best friend Princess, his dog.
John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
