Johnny QuoVadis Wright “Chip” or “Johnny Q,” age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 1, 2015. He was born on April 27, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Williamsburg, VA. He was the beloved son of QuoVadis Williams Wright and the late John P. Wright.
Johnny is survived by his sons, Eric Pridgen and Jonathan Wright; his brothers and sisters, Johnsie Holloway, Jonathan (Carol) Wright, Juan (Ruth) Wright, Johnella (Glen) Carter, John Wayne Wright, Johann (Alizé) Wright, Johnas Wright and the late Shawn Wright; aunt, Sarah Belpree; uncle, Sammy (Brenda) Wright; admired and dedicated cousin and friend, Rayford Parrott; 17 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4 from 11am to 1pm, followed by a service at 1pm, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
