Kathryn “Kay” Ann Felton, age 80, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born in Tampa, Florida on November 24, 1944 and was preceded in death by her parents, Mabry and Ben Perloff and husband, the Honorable Walter Felton.
Kay grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and had a great time playing with the other kids on her street. Kay was a graduate of Florida State University where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She worked as a math teacher in Tampa, Florida at Berkeley Prep and was on the Community Council for Child Abuse and Neglect. Later she taught Math for James City County Schools and then homebound kids. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia. She stayed in touch with many neighbors, school friends, and family from all over the world.
She loved her kids, grandkids, family and friends. She also enjoyed making new friends wherever she went, playing sudoku and enjoying nature, often taking long walks in the woods and climbing trees.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Kristin Bishop (Doug) and Cassie Becker (Xavier); stepsons, Joe Felton (Katie) and Shep Felton; grandchildren, Mabry Bishop, Nathan Bishop, Rylan Becker, Birkett Becker, Andrew Felton, and Charlie Felton; and sister, Martha Lefevre (Tom).
