Kathryn Louise Hampton-Clarke

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Bookless and niece, Sarah Coy.

Kathryn received her Master’s degree in social work from The College of William and Mary. She was devoted to the underprivileged at Eastern State Hospital, as well as in her role as the Event and Games facilitator for seniors at WUMC. She was also a member of Upward Church, where she loved assisting at the pre-service coffee and refreshment table.

She enjoyed many hobbies and passions such as painting, baking (family cookie recipes, especially molasses cookies), cooking (brined turkey), animals (particularly dogs), music (she had diverse tastes between Motown, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd), and supporting veterans.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Bix Clarke; sons, Micah Binns and Ryan Clarke (Charles Cochran); daughter, Stacey Munnerlyn (Stew); sister, Jody Hampton; brother, Chris Bookless; and father, John Bookless.
