Keith M. Sobczak

Keith M. Sobczak, age 56, of Williamsburg, VA, went to be with his Father in Heaven Thursday, March 26, 2020. Born in Detroit, MI to Kenneth B. and Rose Ann (Kowalski) Sobczak on August 28, 1963, Keith went on to complete undergrad and graduate studies at The University of Michigan and thrived in a career in architecture for over 30 years.

Keith loved spending time with his children and his beautiful wife, Meredith (Rowell) Sobczak. He and Meredith enjoyed their adventures traveling together and spending time with friends and family. All who knew Keith knew him to be selfless and generous, willing to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger, always finding a way to connect with someone.

Along with being an avid Patriots fan, Keith loved Michigan football and basketball. He loved working on his truck and doing home projects to create a beautiful life that he lived well and loved sharing with Meredith. After learning their time together might end too soon, Keith and Meredith both cherished every day God gave them. Even in the suffering and uncertainty of an aggressive cancer diagnosis, Keith remained sure God was in control and never wavered from his steadfast faith in his Savior.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Meredith Sobczak, his children: Mark (Emily) Sobczak, Jacob Sobczak, Glori King, Alex (Mikal) Rowell, Caroline (Devin) Sibby; a precious granddaughter, Kova Sibby; his siblings: Ken (Maryellen) Sobczak, Lynn (Dan) Guck, and Gwen (Jason) Hollister; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father and mother and also his sister, Cindy Sobczak.

A graveside service will be held Monday March 30, 2020 at 1:30pm at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
