Kija Maneé Payton

She was born at Fort Bragg, NC and a graduate of Woodside High School, Class of 2016 in Newport News, VA. Kija was a devoted daughter, loving big sister, and future wife. An awesome daughter who loved to cook, entertain and make anyone laugh. Kija loved music, fashion, makeup, writing, decorating, and planning events. She was employed at Huntington Ingalls Shipyard in Newport News, VA.

She is survived by her Parents, Reginald and Valarie Hans, Akio McCall, Robert and Teresa Sims; Fiancé, Damon Greene; Siblings, Keonna Payton (Veron), Devarious Dykes, Chase McCall, Chance McCall, Reginald Hans Jr., Dior Hans, King Hans, Robyn Sims, and Omarion Moore; Niece A’lajah Russell; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A public viewing will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 4-8PM. A private service will be held at 12:00PM in Williamsburg, Saturday, March 27, 2021 which will be live-streamed.
