Lauretta Ainsley Oelerich

She was born to Virginia and Edward Lloyd on August 14, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York.

She attended Long Island Lutheran High School where she met her future husband, Tom. They were friends in high school and kept in touch after graduation and after college they began dating. They married in 1970 and spent the next 52 years raising two daughters and traveling the world together.

Lauretta graduated from Chamberlin College in Boston, MA. Over the years she worked as an executive secretary, legal secretary and medical secretary before retiring in 2005. After retiring Lauretta and Tom moved to, Williamsburg, VA. They spent their retirement years enjoying the active social life of Fords Colony, traveling and enjoying their home on Coleman Pond in Maine.

Lauretta is survived by her husband Tom of Williamsburg, VA, daughter Pamela, grandson’s Brooks and Ethan, of Leesburg, VA, daughter Ally of Alexandria, VA, brother Edward of The Villages in FL and her niece Karen of Seaford, NY

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering in September to remember Lauretta and thank all those who helped during her difficult journey.
