Dear Celeste and Family:
Just a few minutes ago I received an email telling me that Larry had passed away a few weeks ago.
I want you to know how much I respected Larry both as a person and someone I could trust to give me an honest assessment of a matter I was handling. He was always fair to all the attorneys never favoring one over the other. He meted out justice fairly even if a friend of his was on one side of an issue.
Stella and I still remember the Chinese dinner you made for us at your house in Brooklyn, so many years ago.
The greatest tribute you can receive from someone of the Jewish faith is to say that person was a "Mensch". Larry was all that and more.
My heart aches today. I was proud to call him my friend. May he rest in peace.
Respectfully,
Robert Adler

Celeste,

I was shocked to open up my Facebook page just now and to see that Larry had passed away. When last we spoke, he was to be going for treatments. I am so sorry that he is now gone.

My family and I had only gotten to know you two on our March visits to Palm Beach Gardens and looked forward to seeing you both again. I am certain the “Beer Trap” and its visitors will miss seeing him every year too.

My love to you and your family during this difficult time.

I am watching the funeral web cast. So moved by all of you and wishing I could give you a real hug. Your Dad was a card. I remember him telling jokes at parent weekend dinners and getting T and me out of a few tight spots. I was so lucky to spend time with all of you at BC, Garden City, and Breezy. He leaves such a legacy of laughter, intelligence and kindness in all of you. So sorry for your loss.

Much love,
Michele McGlyn

We were so saddened to learn of Larry’s passing. Larry was a wonderful, talented, funny, warm and giving friend.

Some of our fondest memories of Larry will be listening to his stories, listening to his music at the Casino, and enjoying his hospitality at the Beer Trap (or is it the Bear Trap?) at the Honda Classic.

Traditionally, it is the Champion that plays last at the Honda Classic. As you can see in the picture, that was the case once again last year, when Larry teed it up on the 15th at the Bear Trap!

Celeste, please accept our deepest condolences, thoughts, love and prayers to you and your beautiful family for your loss.

Love,
John & Jane
