Lee is survived by his daughters, Tyler Cross and Sydney Cross; sister, Cathy Cross-Stephens; brothers, David Cross and Christopher Cross; and mother, Fe Cross.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Virgin Lee Cross Jr.
Lee proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. During his distinguished career, he spent three years as a member of the Honor Guard and 20 years in Security Forces, where he had the honor of serving and protecting Presidents, Vice Presidents, and other dignitaries. In recognition of his exceptional service, Lee earned numerous decorations, medals, badges, ribbons, and citations.
Lee will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, Virginia.
