Leonhard Venne

Leonhard was born on January 6, 1938 in Guethersloh, Germany to Johannes and Elisabeth Venne. His parents and brothers preceded him in death.

Educated and raised in Germany, in 1960 Leonhard came to the United States and became a citizen. By 1962, he was married to Ursula and they were married for 64 years.

In 1963, he started his career with GE and truly enjoyed his 36 years working for the company. Leonhard was also a faithful parishioner at St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Ursula Venne; his two sons, Marko and Mathias; and two adored daughters-in-law, Gwen and Debby. When his granddaughters, Corinne, Izabella, and Sophia came along, he thought his world was paradise and complete.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 1 at 9:00 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd, Williamsburg, VA.
