Linda loved her garden! Linda and Randy would grow vegetables, and she would plant wildflowers around the house. She was “famous” for her indoor African violet flowers, which won several awards. People would often come over to see them. They were stunning. They really loved hiking and traveling cross-country when Randy retired from NASA. Linda and Randy loved Shenandoah National Park, and we all took our family vacation hiking in the mountains. They loved walking in Colonial Williamsburg and playing with their grandkids.
She is survived by her son, Eric A. Grove (Sharon); daughter, Audra G. Skinkle; grandchildren, Adrian Grove, Eleanor Skinkle, Ryan Skinkle, and Jack Skinkle; sister-in-law, Shirley Corbett; and special niece, Phyllis Roberts, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA on September 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park, Williamsburg, VA.
