Liv Rolfe Christiansen

Liv Johannessen Christiansen passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born on May 12, 1929 in Oslo, Norway to Beda and Peder Marcus. She was proceeded in death by her husband Rolf also of Oslo, Norway. Liv and Rolf along with her 3 brothers and their wives immigrated to the U.S. after the war. They finally settled in Rockport, MA. Later she moved with her children to Tucson, AZ and in the early 80’s moved to Williamsburg, VA. Liv was widowed in 1970 and raised 4 children, who she is survived by; Jon (Pamela), Brian (Connie), Kim (Randy), and Scott; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Liv was the last of her siblings. Despite all of her health challenges, Liv had a great sense of humor and was always ready for her next trip. She was devoted to her children as we were to her, she will be greatly missed. A private service will be held in Rockport, MA at a later date.
