

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy M. Eason, Sr. and Allie Mae Stephens Eason; her husband of 58 years, Clarence Leonard Ringler; son, Leonard E. Ringler; brothers, Randolph and Percy M. Eason, Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy E. Magann and Katherine E. Morgan.
Lucy graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, VA, and would later retire from the Finance and Accounting Division at Ft. Eustis.
For many years, Lucy was active in community affairs. She was a member of the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, where she was part of the Fellowship Class and the Carol Scott Circle. Lucy was also a member and past president of the Lady Lions Auxiliary. For over 60 years, she was a member of the Woman’s Club of Williamsburg, and also a past president.
Lucy is survived by her son, Terry Ringler (Becky); grandchildren, Sarah R. Walsh (Jim) and Christopher Ringler (Jenitza); great-grandchildren, Avery Walsh and Lucille Walsh; sister-in-law, Nita Eason and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Williamsburg United Methodist Church, located at 500 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, VA. The service is scheduled for October 25, 2025, starting at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
