Luke Andrew Phillips

Luke Andrew Phillips age 36, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at home. Luke was born November 15, 1980 in Roseburg, Oregon. He was an avid reader and very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. He thoroughly enjoyed music and loved to sing praise and worship songs. Luke loved spending time with family and friends. Moving to Williamsburg as a teenager, he spent most of his life in Virginia. Luke graduated from Bruton High School in 1999.

His family and friends knew him as an exceptionally kind and gentle man. Left to carry on Luke's loving memory are his mother, Rhonda Kestin; father and stepmother, Terry & Yvonne Phillips; brother, Matthew Phillips; stepsisters; Stephanie (Todd) VanTasel of Williamsburg, Jenny (George) Bragdon of Austin, Texas; stepbrother; Shane Erdt of Bangor, Maine; his grandparents; Gary and Margaret O'Hara in Meridian, Idaho and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate Luke's life will held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA on May 5, 2017 at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Williamsburg Regional Library, one of Luke's favorite spots, is suggested.
