Lynne Bunch

She was born on July 25, 1947, in Santa Monica, California and was the only child of Ed and Joye Sheridan.

She received an Associate Degree in Arts from El Camino College and went on to graduate from University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's Degree in History in 1969. She enjoyed a successful career with Transamerica before meeting her husband, Peter Arnold Bunch RADM with whom she shared her life until his passing.

Lynne loved cars and was an Autocross driver, winning the Redwood Regional Autocross Championship in 1974. She adored and cherished her dog, Molly, and loved little creatures and collecting Wee Forrest Folks and Beatrice Potter items. Lynne was an avid golfer and was an 18 hole ”Lady” at Fords Colony. She enjoyed reading and was an active member of the Wednesday Book Club. Lynne was loved by her friends and family and was famous for her love of shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents and true love, Peter Bunch. Survivors include her stepchildren, Bill and Lisa, along with grandchildren, Jenna, Tyler, and Abigail.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Nelsen’s Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia on May 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Donations can be made in her memory to the Heritage Humane Society (www.heritagehumane.org) in Williamsburg.
