Marc R. Gundersen, age 66, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1954 in Topeka, Kansas to Bob and Judy (Knaus) Gundersen. Marc truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; being the best Papa to his grandchildren with his childlike imagination, love of playing his bass guitar and unique sense of humor.
Marc was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived and deeply missed by his wife, Nancy, of 36 years; daughter, Lindsay Gundersen(Daniel Jordan); stepson, Craig Klein; stepdaughter, Melissa Roberts(Chris); grandchildren, Luke, Taylor, Hannah and Noah; sister, Linda Gaeta; nieces, Robyn Gaeta and Christy Mirth(Geoff).
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the American Diabetes Association
