I have had the privilege to have known her, her husband , and her family over the many years at Brookdale Chambrel Williamsburg! 
Peg was very  involved in programming and activities over the years . She enjoyed her exercise and water aerobic classes, as well as our bingo hours.   So full of wisdom, I truly enjoyed our talks , checking out her newest nail color, discussing world events and catching up with everything that was going on with her family!  She LOVED her family and it was always a treat when she shared new photos and good news about each one of them.  No doubt that she was incredibly proud of her  family.   

Peggy will be missed and I’m very  thankful for all the memories that I have with her.  I know she is dancing with the angels and  having that conversation, “We shall see” .

My grandmother, the Mafia Queen of Chambrel... A frequent news clipper and sharer (pre-Facebook, the snail mail edition!), she never missed bingo or crab cake nights; she dreamed of a heated swimming pool for her water aerobics class; she ended each and every conversation with either of the following two phrases: "We shall see..." or, "Expect the unexpected!..."  Grandmom gave me tools in childhood that still bear tremendous fruit, particularly the knowledge I derived reading my very own set of encyclopedias. My daughter carries onward not just the name Margaret (which Grandmom always apparently disliked, preferring... Margot...?), but a shared curious spirit, obsession with hair and nail care, and all-round delightfulness - mixed with just a tinge of the curmudgeon. Rest in peace, Grandmom - you got us all closer to where we were meant to be. I hope there is (fresh?) stollen wherever you are now. I'll love and miss you always, but especially during family drinking games.
