Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, COL Robert O’Brien, USAF. As an Air Force Family, they relocated many times throughout their marriage before settling in Williamsburg.
They loved their retirement in Williamsburg, especially with their many Scottish Terriers. Margaret enjoyed volunteering her time with the American Kennel Club, the Scottish Terrier Club of America and her local Homeowners Association.
Margaret was employed at St. Bede and St. Olaf Catholic Churches. Margaret’s Catholic faith was of utmost importance to her and encourages everyone to live life to the best ability given to you by God.
A funeral Mass will be held on June 7, 2025, 10:00 am, at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge, VA with interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Youth Ministry at St. Olaf Catholic Church.
