

Born in Belfast, Ireland on November, 11, 1938, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Rothwell, and her grandson, Ronnie Rothwell II.
Margaret was the creator and designer of Lady Anne Dolls. Margaret had a background in fashion design and a love of history. She combined the two interests and started making dolls for her two girls. Then it became a business, the Williamsburg Doll Factory which she founded. She also appeared on QVC and her dolls were known worldwide. Margaret was happiest at home with her little dog, Bella.
She is survived by her son, David Rothwell (Carolyn); daughters, Sandra Hounshell and Sharon Rothwell; grandchildren, Lauren Patrick, Ryan Hounshell, Meagan Hounshell, and Lindsey Wilkerson (Spencer); great-grandchildren, Daniel Patrick, Noah Patrick, and Isabella Wilkerson; and beloved dog, Bella.
A celebration of life will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA on July 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
