Melinda Anna Araguz

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Waltrip; great-grandfather, Irvin English and step-father, Jeffrey Becker, Sr.

Melinda was proud to graduate from Jamestown High School in 2015, which was a huge accomplishment for her. She enjoyed learning and speaking American Sign Language. She also loved butterflies, singing and painting.

She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Becker; her father, Timothy Araguz; step-father, John Moran; brothers, Jeffrey “Bubby” Jr.; Kevin and John; sisters, Joy, Margaret and Kalida; her beloved niece, Danica and her “partner” Timothy; and grandparents, Cathy Thrower and Bill Mikkelson and Tino and Nora Araguz.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25 from 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA, where a service will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 1pm, followed by interment at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr., Williamsburg, VA.
