

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Scott; her sister, Evelyn Hamilton (Donald); her brother, Harold Forman (Arlene); her brother, Douglas Forman (Eileen); and her sister, Elaine Griffon (Boyd).
Norma earned her degree at Trenton State College and later worked as both a teacher and librarian for the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools in New Jersey. She enjoyed being a part of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Battleground Historical Society. As a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed many church activities. In her free time, Norma enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting, and loved to visit the Jersey Shore and the Outer Banks.
She is survived by her son, Rick Scott (Julie); and her daughter, Nancy Scott; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and three beloved granddogs.
A visitation for Norma will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia 23188, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Freehold, NJ, with a burial to follow at 2:30pm at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road Tennent, Englishtown, New Jersey at 2:30 PM.
