On Friday, October 10, 2014, Priscilla Q. Wood of Williamsburg, VA passed away peacefully.
She was the beloved wife of Cornelius Charles Wood, cherished mother of Stefan Alexander Wood, and loving sister of Mario Quilles.
Priscilla, born in New York City, graduated from the School of Industrial Art, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She was involved in fashion and design all of her life, from working at Coats & Clark in the 1960’s, to working as a personal couturier while raising her son in the 70’s and 80’s, to finally working at the Smithsonian Museum of American History as a curator of 20th Century Costume.
Friends will be received Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 am at Nelsen Funeral Home, located at 3785 Strawberry Plains Road in Williamsburg, VA, followed by a burial and reception.
